Nicholas Martorano
Baritone
Baritone Nicholas Martorano recently performed the role of Marullo in Verdi’s Rigoletto at Berkshire Opera Festival. Other roles include Publio in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito at University of Southern California, Mercutio (cover) in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette at Aspen Opera Center, and Sid in Britten’s Albert Herring at Carnegie Mellon University. As a young artist, Nicholas has performed with Opera Saratoga’s Opera To Go, Aspen Opera Center, Opera on the Avalon, Canadian Vocal Arts Institute, International Institute of Vocal Art de Puerto Rico, and Lyrique-en-mer Festival de Belle-Ile. Nicholas received a Master of Music degree from Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in vocal performance from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
