Sean Stanton
Baritone Sean Stanton is the recipient of the Lola Fletcher Award from the American Opera Society. He has received accolades from the James Toland Vocal Arts, New York Lyric Opera Theatre, Classical Singer, National NATS, Bel Canto Foundation, and Luminarts Cultural Foundation.
Previous opera credits include Publio in La clemenza di Tito with Ignite Opera, Curio in Giulio Cesare at the Handel Week Festival, Papageno in The Magic Flute at American Chamber Opera, and Prince Yamadori in Madama Butterfly with DuPage Opera.
Mr. Stanton is a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Grant Park Chorus, and teaches voice in the Chicagoland area. He and his teacher, Annie Picard, founded the Picard-Stanton Institute, teaching holistic techniques based on Informatics Qi Gong. www.seanstanton.net
